SPORTS ARGUS WROTE
Delighted Coleshill Town boss Bob Nimmons has seen his long time struggling side hit real championship form in the last month. Coleshill, everyone's favourite whipping boys in the opening months of the season, have only lost once in their last six games while winning three. Nimmons said the success has been due to the fact he has been able to field a settled side for the first time this season. He has also heaped praise on strikers Jason Phillips, Jonathan Johnson and Jimmy Stafford, who have hit 14 goals between them in these six games. The turn around started when Coleshill went to Highgate United and won 5-1 before beating title challengers Shirley Town 2-0 also away. On Boxing Day, goals by Stafford, Phillips and Jamie Shipway gave Coleshill a convincing local derby win over improved Chelmsley Town 94 at Packington Lane. Nimmons said "The only game we lost out of these six was against Studley but we could have won that if we had put our chances away. The fact we have been able to field the same side with just one or two changes has worked really well for us".
