SPORTS ARGUS WROTE
Pershore got off to a great start when a sixth minute corner from Langford was headed down by Rivers for Barnes to score. Coleshill were soon back on terms when in the 10th minute Johnson was brought down by Russell and Stafford scored the penalty. In the 21st minute Coleshill went ahead when another good run by Johnson resulted in Meyrick scoring from 12 yards.

SUNDAY MERCURY WROTE
Coleshill Hit Back In Style

Coleshill Town saw a two goal lead disappear in this seven goal thriller - but then roared back to snatch the points. Pershore got off to a great start when, after six minutes, a corner from Langford was headed down by Rivers for Barnes to score. Coleshill were back level after ten minutes, Stafford scoring from a penalty. Coleshill went ahead in the 21st minute through Meyrick after a good run by Johnson. Coleshill made it 3-1 in the 50th minute when Johnson's shot was blocked by Davis but Meyrick scored from the rebound. In the 64th minute a good run and cross from Langford was punched clear by Baker to Oldington who thundered in a shot from 35 yards. In the 73rd minute Judge headed home from a cross by McCormick. Back came Coleshill and in the 77th minute, after another good run by Johnson, the ball fell to Stafford to score from 18 yards.


Pershore has been unbeaten in their last nine games and their manager had just claimed Manager Of The Month for March. Pershore went on to be Champions.
