REPORT FROM CTFC PROGRAMME
In Coleshill's first home game of the season Town took on Boldmere St Michaels. Played in front of a fair crowd for a mid-week Match, Coleshill seemingly had the game won, until the last ten minutes. Paul Casey had given Coleshill a 2-0 lead and Trevor Burroughs was set to make it three when he was pulled down on the edge of the box when clean through. Amazingly the offender wasn't spoken to and nothing came of the free kick. Jimmy Rosborough was then booked for kicking the ball awy after a decision against him. Worse was to follow with the visitors scoring twice in three minutes. The first a fine effort but the second from a very dubious penalty award.

One point from two games isn't the start Coleshill expected, but a narrow away defeat to the eventual Champions Armitage and a well earned draw against Boldmere doesn't sound too bad. And, they had found themselves a goal scorer in Paul Casey who notched a double against The Mikes! Could they hang on to him?
