SPORTS ARGUS WROTE

This game started at a fast pace and Mark Hart was called into action after only ten minutes to save superbly from Satchwell from close range. Phil Bailey jinked his way through the visitors defence but could not find a route to goal. A drive from Randall and an effort from Hughes both missed the target.
Half Time Coleshill 0 v 0 Bolehall.

SUNDAY MERCURY WROTE
Bolehall Swifts prevented Coleshill Town making it five wins out of five in a very entertaining goalless draw. The game was played at a fast pace, with both sides always keen to go forward. In the first half Mark Hart pulled off a superb save for Coleshill on his return to the side. The second half was much tighter with both sides cancelling each other out. Coleshill pressed hard for the winner in the last ten minutes but the visitors held firm.

COLESHILL HERALD WROTE
Derby Date Ends In A Stalemate

Coleshill Town went into this game on the back of four straight league wins and with the knowledge that they had beaten Bolehall twice already this season. The players of Bolehall needed no greater incentive than knowing that, to want to beat them. As it was, neither side took the honours although they provided a very entertaining match, said by one Coleshill supporter to be the best seen at Pack Meadow this season. With seven minutes on the clock, Paul Brown, up for one of many corners Bolehall claimed during the first half, latched on to a header from Porter only to see keeper Hart block it, and as the ball fell to earth, Brown saw his side foot effort blocked once more. At the other end, Burroughs weaved his way in to the box, but in-form Mark Phillips performed miracles and took the ball off his feet. Satchwell on 19 minutes had first a left foot volley straight at Hart and then a right foot shot that brought a spectacular save from Hart and yet another corner for Bolehall. Then it was the ever improving Troy Porter who produced a header from a Carl Haynes free kick, but once more Hart was on hand to save. A powerful shot by Randall brought the best out of mark Phillips and Paul Brown was on hand to clear off the foot of Taylor as he prepared to pounce on the rebound. Just before half time Burroughs should have done better with a close range header from a cross by the ever busy Whipps. The second half saw Bolehall have the greater of the possession with Brown, Satchell, Haynes, Mellors and Jordan all having chances to score. Coleshill came back with a late rally but Haddon, Bolehall's Man Of The Match, ensued that there was no last minute disappointments. Albrighton, who came on for the injured Nugent, nearly snatched a winner right at the death, but his shot was blocked.
