SUNDAY MERCURY WROTE
Pershore blasted four second half goals to cruise to a convincing win. Wyres completed a hat-trick, having opened the scoring from Hopkins pass after 24 minutes. Three minutes after the break Annis set up Wyres who made no mistake with goal number two. Pershore then suddenly hit three more goals in a 10 minute spell through McCormick, Judge and Wyres.

COLESHILL HERALD WROTE
ON the eve of the new season:

The Herald Sportsdesk confidently expects this friendly and ambitious club to have a very good season ahead. Coleshill Town enjoy the distinction of being the most consistent of our Influence League teams. While other sides around the area tend to follow great seasons with disappointing ones, Coleshill always manage to maintain a certain impressive standard and there is no indication that this looks like changing for the 1991/92 season. Overall, we think it could be a very prosperous Premier Division season this time and the battle to be the top local dog looks like being a fascinating one.

COLESHILL HERALD WROTE
Coleshill's Nightmare

Coleshill got off to the worst possible start in their Influence Premier League campaign when they were well and truly thumped on Saturday afternoon. The Pack Meadow boys - picked as possible title chasers in last weeks Herald - looked anything but as they enjoyed the unique distinction of claiming the bottom of the table slot in their first game of the season. Coleshill looked to be doing fairly well when the score was only 1-0 at the interval but it all went tragically wrong in the second half when a four goal blast (three of which arrived in a dreadful ten minute spell) brought cheers aplenty to Pershore and sheer misery to the North Warwickshire boys.
