SPORTS ARGUS WROTE
A much changed Coleshill team settled fairly quickly and had most of the early pressure. In the 10th minute confusion between Tye and Walsh led to the first corner of the game for the opposition. Coleshill's first chance came when Jennings, making his debut, held off a defender but shot over the bar from 15 yards. Much of the first half involved midfield inter-play with neither side really producing clear-cut chances. It was Aris for the visitors who wasted the best chance his side had when he shot wide with only the keeper to beat.
Half Time: Coleshill 0 v 0 Barlestone

SUNDAY MERCURY WROTE
Coleshill, the Combination draw specialists, shared the spoils for the sixth time in ten outings. Barlestone went closest to breaking the stalemate in the first half when Aris wasted a golden opportunity by shooting wide.
