SUNDAY MERCURY WROTE
Another Coleshill draw, making 15 this season, demonstrated why the side will only finish in mid-table. To be fair to Kings Heath they battled well in the second half and did deserve their share of the spoils. Stewart's equaliser after 74 minutes was their only real chance of the game. It could have been a completely different story if Bailey, Burroughs, Taylor and Rosborough had converted first half chances. It was left to Taylor to open the scoring after a bad mistake from Flynn in the Kings Heath defence, although Coleshill failed to capitalise from this early lead.

SPORTS ARGUS WROTE
Swirling wind made life difficult for both teams at the start . Coleshill did begin to take command as early as the 3rd minute when they could easily have taken the lead. Taylor made it 1-0 to Coleshill after a dreadful mistake by Flynn in the Kings Heath defence. Taylor had the opportunity to put his side further in front but snatched at his shot after being put clear by Rosborough. It was not until the 10th minute that Kings Heath showed anything like an attacking force when they forced their first corner and Coleshill keeper Hart did well to hold the ball underneath the crossbar. Both sides endeavoured to play some neat attractive football despite the conditions and Coleshill should have been further in front when chances fell to Burroughs, Rosborough and Bailey.
Half Time: Coleshill 1 v 0 Kings Heath.
