SUNDAY MERCURY WROTE

Bolehall opened the scoring in the 7th minute when Lewis’s shot rebounded into the path of new signing Brady and he finished it off. Coleshill equaliser was driven home by Jenkins in the 68th minute. The seemingly inevitable winner was scored by the former Bolehall player Frank Hickman with only five minutes remaining.

SPORTS ARGUS WROTE
Brady slotted home after eight minutes for Bolehall. Coleshill almost equalised when Bailey lofted a ball over two Bolehall defenders into the path of Taylor whose shot hit the underside of the crossbar and was cleared despite claims of it crossing the line.
Half Time: Bolehall 1 v 0 Coleshill

COLESHILL HERALD WROTE
Derby Delight

Coleshill Town won the local derby battle of the Scoreline Premier League on Saturday and deserved to do so. The Town team deserved their share of the spoils after taking the game to the under-par home squad. Despite the end result it was Bolehall who had their tales in the air early on after racing into a 7th minute lead. The man on the mark here was Brian Brady scoring on his Bolehall debut after a mid-week move from nearby Hams Hall. Bolehall simply couldn't get their game going at this point and failed to capitalise upon their early lead. As a result Coleshill gradually began to take over and on 38 minutes it appeared they had equalised. Bailey lobbed a ball over two defenders into the path of Taylor who blasted home. It hit the underside of the bar before being scrambled away on the line with Coleshill shouting loudly that the ball had indeed crossed the line. In addition Frank Hickman brought the best out of Mark Kendall with a clever chip and by half time Bolehall could consider themselves very lucky to be one goal ahead. The second half saw Coleshill duly get their just reward on 68 minutes. Robbie Timms failed to clear a loose ball in the box leaving Jenkins free to whip the ball home with relish. Bolehall held on as best they could to their precious point but five minutes from time Coleshill grabbed the vital victory when ex-Swifts man Frank Hickman nipped in to make it 2-1 and send the Coleshill boys home happy.
