SUNDAY MERCURY WROTE

Coleshill continued their fine run of form and added to Walsall Wood’s diminishing title hopes thanks to a Taylor brace. The visitors took the lead after only 7 minutes when a Hickman pass to Taylor caught the Wood defence flat footed and left the Coleshill striker with the easiest of chances. The home side came more into the encounter in the second half and duly equalised on 75 minutes when Haywood headed Carson’s corner into the net. With just 4 minutes remaining Coleshill scored the winner when a Daly run set up Taylor who shot into the corner of the net.

SPORTS ARGUS WROTE
The visitors took the lead after just seven minutes when a Hickman pass caught the Wood defence flat footed with Taylor having the easiest of scoring opportunities. Five minutes later it could easily have been two when Hickman played the ball over the Wood defence to Christopher whose lobbed effort was tipped over the bar by keeper Edwards.

COLESHILL HERALD WROTE
Coleshill's marvellous recent run took another major step forward with this impressive away win on Saturday afternoon. Coleshill showed their intention of grabbing the glory as early as the seventh minute when up popped Taylor to find a gap in the Walsall defence and hit home a neat pass by Hickman. Walsall were definitely the weaker of the two teams in the first half but in the second session they came into it more and deservedly squared things up on 75 minutes via Haywood. But Coleshill were not to be denied. With just four minutes left that man Taylor was on hand again to hit home at the far post and to the delight of the North Warwickshire club, the Coles were on the winning side yet again.
