SUNDAY MERCURY WROTE

Coleshill deservedly took the lead in the 14th minute when the alert Daly took advantage of a mix-up in the Poles defence giving no chance to Bamford in goal with a close range shot. But Polesworth ensured a share of the spoils two minutes after the interval when a corner by Lewis found Lilley on the edge of the penalty area and he shot low through a crowded goalmouth past the unsighted Coleshill keeper Civil.

SPORTS ARGUS WROTE
Coleshill deservedly took the lead in the 14th minute when the unmarked Daly took advantage of a mix-up in the Polesworth defence. The set back seemed to galvanise the visitors and Coleshill were lucky to survive a series of attacks.
Half Time: Coleshill 1 v 0 Polesworth.

COLESHILL HERALD WROTE
Polesworth would have been more pleased than the hosts with the result of this local derby encounter. Mid-table Coleshill went into the game as clear favourites and after a bright and breezy start they confirmed their superiority when they notched via Daly after a certain amount of confusion at the heart of the North Warwick defence. Polesworth however were not to be undaunted and they then went on to create a whole host of good chances that surprised the home faithful. Polesworth were finally rewarded for their considerable efforts in the 47th minute when the impressive Lilley got his name on the scoresheet following a corner from Lewis. Both sides did have chances to snatch it before the end of the game but at the close both managers had to settle for a single point from their hard derby endeavours.
