SUNDAY MERCURY WROTE

Coleshill were always dominant and showed their superiority with goals just before and after the interval before going on to complete an emphatic victory. The only goal in the first half was scored by Taylor when he headed over the advancing Butt after good work by Timms and Whipps. The second was a powerful volley by Whipps from a cross by Hickman. Coleshill’s flying winger Daly provided the crosses for two goals which were scored respectively by Christopher with a header and Bailey with a close range shot.

SPORTS ARGUS WROTE
Coleshill played most of the attacking moves and were rewarded by the only goal of the first half. Coleshill's Taylor headed just over the advancing Butt after good work in midfield from Timms and Whipps.

This was a fine victory for the Coleshill squad. they were dominant from the kick off and it was an excellent result, an excellent performance and an excellent day for the Coleshill fans. The only goal scored in the first half was scored by Taylor and a second arrived with a powerful volley by Whipps. Goals three and four arrived via Christopher and Bailey and everyone left the club with a smile on their face - apart that is from the Kings Heath boys!
