Coleshill Town swept aside Dudley Sports 4-0 at Packington Lane to book a trip to Halesowen Town. Sam Adkins lashed home a 20 yarder on 61 minutes before Luke Barlone chipped the keeper and Shane Benjamin scored from the edge of the box.

Coleshill started on the front foot and it only took 6 minutes for them to open the scoring when a quick free kick by Adkins 20 yards out was played inside the penalty area to Reece Leek who blasted the ball into the back of the net before Dudley could react.

Coleshill were in control of the game but Dudley had a chance on 13 minutes when a cross from the right was fired well over the bar. The next chance fell to Coleshill on 22 minutes when a long ball was flicked on by Barlone for Cobourne to run past the defender into the 6 yard box only to be tripped by the advancing keeper for a penalty. Up stepped Adkins but he saw his well struck shot saved by the keeper diving to his right .

This didn't deter Coleshill and they were soon on the attack again when a long throw in from the right by Weale was met with a powerful header by Barlone only for him to see the keeper make another great save to push the ball round the post on 30 mins.

Then Dudley had a chance but a long range effort was easily caught by Hathaway in the Coleshill goal. These chances were few for Dudley and Coleshill attacked again when a ball to the feet of Barlone was controlled and he played a lovely ball over the Dudley defence for Beckley to control on his chest past the defender but then saw his shot from the corner of the 6 yard box hit the crossbar, Cobourne could not net the rebound.

Cobourne had the next chance when a long ball from Evans was controlled first time but he shot wide from 18 yards. Almost immediately Cobourne was put through again but the keeper made another good save at his feet.

Just before half time Barlone beat two defenders but his shot from 20 yards was deflected wide, so half time saw Coleshill well on top but unable to take their chances. 1-0.

The second half started as the first finished with Coleshill again attacking this time right back Gonzales ran down the right and played a one two with Barlone before cutting inside but shot over the bar.

After 55 minutes Coleshill had a scare when a mix up in the defence inside the penalty area left a Dudley forward clear on goal but his shot sailed over the bar.

On 61 mins the turning point of the game came with 3 goals in the space of 6 minutes as first Barlone was fouled on the edge of the box and Adkins curled the free kick into top corner of the net for 2-0. Then Leek crossed from the right into the feet of Barlone who hit a sweet shot past the keeper from 20 yards 3-0. From the kick off Coleshill won the ball and a good pass into Benjamin saw the prolific striker easily beat the keeper from just inside the penalty area for 4-0.

Then what could have been the goal of the game saw Quaynor win the ball, play it to Weale who looked up to see the keeper off his line and tried a Beckham style shot from the half way line only to see the effort go just over the bar on 85 mins.

The last chance of the game saw good work from Weale who then played a pass into Beckley but the keeper made another good save to deny Coleshill a 5th goal.

So Coleshill sweep aside Dudley Sports and now travel to Halesowen Town in the next round of the Emirates FA Cup on the 3rd September.
