The game started with a bang with three goals inside the first fifteen minutes. Long Eaton took the lead on 3 minutes through man of the match Paul Lister. Coleshill equalised on five minutes with an own goal but after just 13 minutes United were back in front through Kevin Hemagou. The game continued at pace but there was no more scoring until deep into injury time when Dean Rathbone popped up with a point saving goal on 94 minutes.
