REPORT
It has been just 17 days since Coleshill lost to the Mikes at the Trevor Brown Memorial Ground but sweet revenge was well deserved in a very entertaining game in front of Town's biggest crowd since the visit of Dunston UTS back in January in the FA Vase. Coleshill were always in charge but the points weren't safe until ten minutes from time. Both sides played some impressive football on the Pack Meadow surface but Coleshill should have been in front before Mykel Beckley scored in the 20th minute. A long punt up field was excellently controlled by the in-form striker, his turn of pace took him clear of the defence and he calmly slotted the ball under the advancing keeper. The Mikes only chance of the half came with five minutes to the break when a header hit the post and the follow up was cleared off the line.

Boldmere enjoyed better possession in the second half although they rarely troubled Town keeper Paul Hathaway and the Colemen had the better chances. Mykel Beckley had the ball nicked off his toe by the Mikes keeper Sean Butler and Tom Weale shot over after a sweeping move before Town doubled the lead on 54 minutes. Man Of The Match Dean Rathbone pinched the ball in midfield and made ground into the box. His left foot shot was parried by Butler but Curvin Ellis was on hand to force the ball home. Coleshill were well on top now as Beckley volleyed wide after another fine move and Curvin Ellis was denied a stone-wall penalty. The Mikes had put four past Town in the previous meeting so another home goal was needed to kill the game off and it came with ten minutes to go. Jordan Nadat, returning after a head injury, picked the ball up from a throw in and ran at the visitors defence before playing in Corey Currithers who shot from just inside the box. The effort was parried by Butler but Dean Rathbone was on hand to score. Two minutes later Rathbone sent Beckley clear and although his bending shot was initialling saved by Butler, the ball fell for Nadat who powerfully shot home. Boldmere got a consolation goal in time added on as a cross from the right came off Lindsey's' back and looped over Hathaway to nestle into the net.

One more game, away to Coventry United, and then the big one. FA Vase at Gorleston and the chance to break a club record and reach the last 16 of the national competition.
