REPORT
Not the best performance in the run of TEN consecutive wins, but a win is a win, and that old football saying "When you can win when you don't play well it's a sign of a good team" rings true!

Quorn nullified Coleshill's attacking options and played some neat, attractive football but Town keeper Paul Hathaway had a quiet night as the visitors lacked penetration in the final third.
In a game of few chances Paul Hathaway saved from Thompson and Dean Rathbone hit the post with a shot from 25 yards was just about the sum of a disappointing half.

Simeon Cobourne broke the deadlock with the only goal of the game with just a minute on the second half clock. Mykel Beckley made a break down the left wing and his fine cross missed out two defenders and found the running Simeon Cobourne who volleyed into the net from about five yards out. Despite the goal lead Coleshill still struggled to put their game together and Quorn became the dominant force. A great delivery from a free kick by Dale reached Thompson but a great challenge by Craig Milligan, playing his 100th game for the Colemen, prevented an attempt on goal. Quorn's best bet of an equaliser came from free kicks and Tom Fishwick cleared one and Paul Hathaway easily caught a header from Sellway. Quorn's best player on the night Jepson made a fine run into the box, passed Hathaway but hit the side netting with his left foot shot, then Mather headed over the bar. Visiting keeper McMillan saved from Cobourne, Jordan Nadat had a shot blocked from a free kick after a surging Rathbone run. Danny Tymon was alert when a defensive mistake let in Jepson but Tymon's challenge took the sting off the shot allowing Hathaway to make an easy save. Rathbone hit a free kick over the bar and Quorn had a series of free kicks just outside the box all of which amounted to not a lot. In a rare quality moment Jordan Nadat did well to find Mykel Beckley and his bending shot scraped the far post then a clearance by Craig Milligan set Simeon Cobourne free one on one and a chance to finish the game but McMillan got a finger tip to Cobourne's effort to knock out for a corner.

The last time Coleshill Town won 10 straight games it took the team to the Midland Combination Premier League title back in 2008. One more win and it would need a real delve into the archives to see when that was last matched, if ever!
