SUNDAY MERCURY WROTE
Nadat's Treble Gives Town A Route To Top

Five Star Coleshill Town returned to the summit, thanks to Jordan Nadat's hat-trick in a 5-0 win at Long Eaton United. Nadat nabbed the opener seven minutes before half time and made it two before Ryan Edmunds and Luke Edwards got on the scoresheet. Nadat completed his treble in the last minute as the Colemen took full advantage of previous leaders Bromsgrove Sporting's 3-1 defeat at Highgate United.

MATCH REPORT
A comfortable win for Coleshill to regain top spot with Bromsgrove Sporting losing at Highgate United. Against a slight wind in the first half Coleshill took the lead on 35 minutes with a cross/shot from Jordan Nadat that flew into the top corner. Long Eaton barely threatened in the first half apart from a few set pieces and at half tome the Colesmen led 1-0.

The second half was all Coleshill playing some very good football. After hitting the woodwork a couple of times, and some good saves by the home keeper, Jordan Nadat doubled the lead just before the hour mark. Ryan Edmunds made it three on 71 minutes with an excellent 25 yard strike. On 80 minutes a Liam Molesworth corner was headed home by Luke Edwards for number four. On 90 minutes Jordan Nadat completed his hat-trick with the goal of the game, a brilliant turn and shot with the outside of his left foot which flew into the bottom corner of the net.

A good performance all round with Joe Smith making his debut and the returning Tom Fishwick making his first appearance of the season
