CHELMSLEY NEWS WROTE
Exchanges were fairly even in this home clash against an experienced Boldmere side and Coleshill more than held their own. Indeed Coleshill played with a tremendous amount of enthusiasm to be rewarded with a goal fromTony Hanson in the 30th minute. This success inspired the homesters and in the 40th minute a well rehearsed free kick enabled Brad Russell to increase the lead with a scorching shot. Boldmere applied heavy pressure on the Coleshill defence at the start of the second half and after 60 minutes veteran striker Roger Shaw reduced the deficit. Goalkeeper Hollins became Coleshill’s hero in the 66th minute, brilliantly saving a penalty and Boldmere we’re finally sunk by a goal from Bob Dyer - scoring against his former team mates.
