Saturday 27th March 1982
Midland Combination Division One
Cinderford Town 9 v 0 Coleshill Town

P28 W10 D6 L12 F32 A44 Pts26 Pos8/22

Team: Probable: Mark Hollins, Mark Bishop, Steve Fealey, Robert Woodward, Keith Shrimpton, Barry Tempest, Steve Pollack, Ron Cartwright, Micky Calvert, Tony Hanson, Kevin Tipton. Sub Brad Russell. Not Confirmed.

THE SPORTS ARGUS WROTE
Spare a thought for Colin Holder at Coleshill Town. At the start of the season he had collected a squad of hard working players and got them into the top group. Since those early days he has seen players having to give up the game due to injury. His most embarrassing moment was this week when he saw his team crushed 9-0 at Cinderford. They went in at half time trailing by five goals after Gibbons 2, Fleghary 2, and an own goal had put Cinderford on top. Gibbons completed his hat-trick with Davies, Young and Stewart making up the rest and completing a terrible day for Coleshill.

SUNDAY MERCURY WROTE
Two goals from Gibbons and Fleghary and an own goal from Shrimpton gave the home side a 5-0 interval lead. In the second half Gibbons completed his hat trick and Davies made it seven. Two players were then sent off as tempers became frayed. Stuart and Young added further goals to complete a miserable afternoon for Coleshill.

Doesn't say who was sent off but presume it was Coleshill players.
