COLESHILL HERALD WROTE
Villa Clash Was Special For Coleshill Boss Stuart

Coleshill Town boss Cameron Stuart said it had been a "proud night" for his club after they hosted a young Aston Villa side in the Birmingham Senior Cup on Monday. The Colemen were knocked out of the competition 4-2 with Villa's under 18's forward Dimitri Sea in fine form for the visitors with a brace (19, 58) at Pack Meadow. Jordan Cox (70) fired home from the spot while in form Harvey Knibbs (48), who has been impressing for the under 23's, was also on the scoresheet. Reece Leek and Pierce Kiembi scored the Coleshill goals on the night. But, despite the result, Stuart, a former Villa player himself, said it was still an unforgettable occasion. "It was a once in a lifetime chance for some of our lads to play against some of Villa's top prospects," said Stuart. "There was a healthy crowd and a great atmosphere. Despite the result, we all enjoyed ourselves and we put on a good show. I thought the lads gave a really good account of themselves and we more than held our own. We gifted them their goals to be honest but the lads worked really hard on the night. It was a pleasing night for everyone at Coleshill," he added.

Reece Leek and Pierce Kiembi became the latest names to be added to the list of CTFC players who have scored against professional sides in a competitive match.
