MATCH REPORT

Coleshill have won a few Penalty Shoot-Outs over the last few years but they came up short on this occasion despite the usual hero, keeper Paul Hathaway, scored one and saved one.

Coleshill made a couple of changes from the win over Berkhamsted on Saturday. In defence Matt Jackson and Craig Deakin were rested, in came youngster Kane Baldwin and a surprise appearance from Joe Cole. Up front new signing Nick Seabourne made his debut with Liam Molesworth dropping to the bench. Barwell were a big, strong side but Coleshill held their own and didn't look out of their depth against the higher league side. Davidson-Miller came close to opening the scoring but his lob went wide. A fine Coleshill move ended with a George Washbourne shot that skimmed the bar. Home keeper Paul Hathaway made a great save from a Rowe volley and followed that up with another fine save from McDonald.

Connor Doyle had Town's best chance early in the second half when he found himself clear but his attempted lob didn't beat the keeper. Putman saw a bending shot only just go past the woodwork then visitors keeper Castle saved from Connor Doyle. Williams forced his way into the box but his rocket shot was once again saved by Hathaway. Liam Molesworth made a fine run into the box and had a great shout for a penalty but the referee was having non of it. Williams saw his header saved on the line by Paul Hathaway and then George Washbourne's effort was saved by Barwell stopper Castle. In the last action before penalties a long, long clearance from Castle was headed on by Davidson-Miller leaving Hathaway stranded but Guy Clark was on hand to clear off the line.

And so to penalties:
0-0 Liam Molesworth shot saved.
0-1 Lee Hildreth scored.

1-2 Massiah McDonald scored.
2-2 Paul Hathaway scored.
2-3 Brady Hickey scored.

2-3 Jahvan Davidson-Miller shot saved.
3-3 Joe Smith scored.
3-4 Eliot Putman scored.
