Coleshill Town 0 v 5 Stratford Town

Stratford marched to their fourth consecutive away victory under new manager Steve Lee with a convincing five goal victory at relegation threatened Coleshill. Stratford went in front after 19 minutes when Abbey Kelly headed a left wing cross down to Gary Hardwick who scored from six yards. Stratford increased their lead after 32 minutes when Johnny Brooks rounded keeper Louis Lutwychebefore scoring from 12 yards. Stratford scored their third in the 43rd minute when Hardwick found Richard Holt who slotted home. Stratford added a fourth in the 58th minute when after a fine build up, Lee Sullivan found Ian Mitchell who netted from 8 yards. Neil Brady, John Hall and substitute Trevor Brown went close for Coleshill in the closing stages but Stratford went nap two minutes from time when Hardwick nipped in to supply the finishing touch to a loose ball.

The Coleshill Chronicle stopped publication in December 1963 but was bought by Tamworth Herald and reintroduced once again as the Coleshill Chronicle on 24th January. Several results are missing over this period. However one result known but no details was a Coleshill Charity Cup defeat to Stockingford Allotments.
