SPORTS ARGUS WROTE
The first half produced few chances as Knowle were content to concede the majority of midfield in order to concentrate on defence.
Half Time: Coleshill 0 v 0 Knowle.
SUNDAY MERCURY WROTE
Coleshill Town maintained an unbeaten home record with the defeat of Knowle. Neither side seemed to want to take the initiative in a relatively uneventful first half. In fact the first corner went to Knowle after the first 30 minutes. Coleshill opened the second half more brightly than Knowle and Hughes drilled a shot wide of the upright in the early exchanges. Coleshill opened the scoring in the 55th minute when Whipps made a superb run and crossed from the right for Burroughs to head home unopposed. Knowle stepped up their game and nearly equalised when a mistake by Hart lead to Rosborough having to head off the line. David Coleman, playing his first full game for Coleshill, sealed the game with a fine individual goal from Teeling's long clearance.
