Highgate recorded their fourth consecutive league victory on Tuesday evening when they entertained a young but hard working Coleshill side. A four goal burst in a ten minute first half spell put Gate well on the way to three points, Lee Brosnan opening the scoring on 25 minutes. Five minutes later Alex Brotherton looped a header well out of the keeper's reach, followed by an unstoppable angled volley from defender Ricky Martin. Leading scorer Derek Hall added two more to his tally with goals on 35 and 64 minutes, in between which Brosnan turned home a loose ball after the keeper had parried Robert Sweeney's low drive. Coleshill scored a late goal but finished well beaten by a rampant home team.

Coleshill Town finished second from bottom but escaped relegation. Only bottom team Dudley Sports were relegated, Alveston won the league by seven points.
