COLESHILL HERALD WROTE
Controversial Goal Denies Coleshill
Coleshill lost their fourth game in a row in a scrappy affair against Highgate at Pack Meadow. A controversial Highgate winner in the last 10 minutes denied Coleshill a point. An early chance gave Highgate the opportunity to take the lead but in a one-on-one situation, keeper Greg Allen came out on top. Midway through the half however, the stopper was left isolated when Highgate broke from a Coleshill corner and Marcus Rickets made no mistake. After a change of formation Coleshill managed to level the score on the hour, with a goal from Duwayan Mardenborough. But with just 10 minutes remaining Highgate’s Martin Gallow received a ball in an offside position, and with the home defence waiting for a whistle, Gallow went on to score and give Highgate all three points.
