Team: Mark Hart, Malcolm Teeling, Colin Cooke, Kevin Walsh, Jamie Harden, Neil Hughes, Steve Whipps, Jim Rosborough, Eddie Whinnery, Ian Cockerill, Tom Daly. Subs: Eddie Barnes, Trevor Burroughs. (Confirmed)

Coleshill opened brightly, with three early breaks from the speedy Daly causing the Northfield defence problems. Northfield applied pressure for Powell to create a double save from goalkeeper Hart.
