COLESHILL HERALD WROTE
Coleshill bagged their first win of the season as they secured a narrow victory on Tuesday night. The first half was a very close affair, marred by a nasty injury to 18 year old Ryan Duxbury who suffered a broken tibia. The most noticable chances fell to Coleshill with Chris Lloyd firing in a superb free kick which was superbly tipped over by ex Dosthill youth team goalkeeper Richard Taylor. Lloyd had a further good chance but was denied from close range. The second half was a similar affair although Alvechurch were denied by two great saves by Paul Hathaway. However, it was Coleshill who sealed the victory by a single goal. It came in the 71st minute as Ben Porter took his opportunity very coolly after being played in by Tez Carpenter. It was a hard workman like performance from Coleshill who welcome Ellesmere to Pack Meadow on Saturday.
