THE NON LEAGUE PAPER WROTE
The visitors never say die attitude paid off as they edged a five goal thriller after twice falling behind. Coleshill took the lead after 26 minutes when Josh Willis sent Kai Tongue clear and he confidently finished under the diving keeper. Newcastle equalised six minutes later when Challis Johnson headed home. The home side regained the lead just before the break when Amarvir Sandu got to the byeline and found Gio Dainty who made no mistake from close range. The visitors drew level again 10 minutes into the second half when James Askey got on the end of an Ethan Vale free kick before Jack Van Der Laan got the winner in the 80th minute.

MATCH REPORT
The two sides have only ever met in the FA Cup which Coleshill won after a replay. That was back in 2015 and Newcastle played at a level higher. These days the sides play at the same level, both in the Northern Premier League with Coleshill in the Midland Division and Newcastle in the West.
Newcastle dominated the early play dominating possession with very little goalmouth action. Johnson attempted to chip Town keeper Paul Hathaway but his effort went wide. Coleshill first attempt was a left foot shot from Amarvir Sandhu that didn't really bother the visiting keeper Mooney. Kai Tongue had a run at goal but Mooney was out quickly to save at his feet then a bending shot from Berks needed a save from Hathaway. Coleshill took the lead on 26 minutes when a fabulous through ball by Josh Willis sent Kai Tongue racing clear and he confidently finished under the advancing keeper. Newcastle deservedly equalised on 32 minutes when a sustained attack saw home keeper Paul Hathaway claw a shot off the line but Challis Johnson was on hand to head the rebound home. A Berks free kick was saved by Hathaway before Coleshill regained the lead just before the break when Amarvir Sandu got to the bye line and found Gio Dainty with a cross to the far post who headed into the net.
Half time Coleshill Town 2-1 Newcastle Town
The second half was much more even and the result could have gone either way. Kai Tongue had a chance to increase Coleshill's lead but this time keeper Mooney was up to the challenge and saved the effort. Newcastle equalised for the second time on 55 minutes when Ethan Vale took a free kick wide right and James Askey got the finest of touches to send the ball into the far corner. Liam Molesworth shot just wide of the post and Aber did the same for The Castle. Home keeper Paul Hathaway made a full length diving save from a shot by Morley but Newcastle came back with the winner on 80 minutes when the home defence backed off allowing Jack Van Dee Laan to advance and his left foot shot took a deflection to find the corner of the net. Coleshill tried hard but couldn’t find an equaliser, Amarvir Sandhu coming the closest but his effort hit the side netting.
So that's Coleshill out of the FA Cup, the FA Trophy and the Birmingham Senior Cup and with the NPL restricting clubs to just those competitions it's all league games for the rest of the season for the Colemen.
