MATCH REPORT
A very well contested game but injuries and suspensions caught up on Coleshill with Shepshed’s pressing play deservedly taking the points. Shepshed took the lead on 15 minutes when Zayn Hakeem latched on to a fine through ball and drove a low shot under home keeperPaul Hathaway. Coleshill came close to an equaliser as a free kick from Kai Tonge was brilliantly saved by Dynamo keeper Brandon Ganley and Ewan Williams had a header cleared off the line from the resulting corner. A Mason Birch free kick from near the corner flag went over the keeper but was headed off the line by Niall Prenderville. Coleshill upped the pace in the second half but it just wasn’t happening for them. Ganley saved an effort from debut boy Kian Taylor and an Isia Marsilla shot just went passed the far post but Shepshed secured the points with a second goal on 82 minutes when John King’s left foot shot went across goal and into the far corner of the net.
