Coleshill lost this match to a 29th minute goal by Sutheran, which left Garnell with little chance. It was a deserved lead for the visitors, who had the better of the first half, in which Coleshill surrendered the midfield. Sutheran had several other chances, including one in which he saw rebound off the Town bar from three yards. Borough lived dangerously in the second half, Coleshill twice forcing defenders to push the ball past their own posts. Allcock almost got an equaliser in the 65th minute when his first try was deflected to McDonald, whose own try returned to Allcock, who ran the ball inches wide.
