Moor Green is a very lucky team for Coleshill to play against. All season Moor Green have been unable to win a match against us. We have played them twice in the Cup and once in the League. We were therefore looking forward to playing them for the fourth time this season. The 1st half was fairly matched with it being comparatively even. Luckily for Coleshill, Moor Green hit the post and had a couple of shots which were either off target or easy for Oliver (GK) to save. Coleshill had a few chances but were unable to convert them to any goals. The 1st half finished 0-0.
At the beginning of the second half just after 2 minutes from the start, Moor Green scored with a well taken goal. Coleshill never looked like scoring in the 2nd half and become very frustrated. A number of players were booked on several occasions - Stuart Lee was booked twice and was sent off!!!
Not a good evening for Coleshill - we defended well enough with Josh Gunter and the defence trying really hard to give us a fair chance but unfortunately we didn't play good or flowing football and didn't create enough chances to score any goals. The final score was 0-1.
P.S. We would like to send best wishes and get well soon to Peter Crowe as, unfortunately, he has not been well and has spent some time in hospital and will not be able to play for the rest of the season. Have a good rest Pete.
