Match Report
Wednesday 30th Aug 2006
Midland Floodlit Youth League Premier Division
Coleshill Town 2 v 0 Worcester City
Coleshill maintained their 100% record, haven't conceded a goal and are now top of the league. Worcester had won their first game 4-0 against Hednesford, so Town were expecting a tough challenge but the home team were stronger throughout and deserved the three points with a goal in each half by Steven Parsons and Daniel Tymon.
The only down side of the night was yet another sending off. TJ Holder and Worcester's centre forward had a scuffle and both players raised their hands leaving the referee no alternative but to show both players a red card.
Better news was that Justin Grandison has been selected for the Birmingham County Under 18 side and Reiss Byfield for the Under 16's.
Team;- Ryan Byfield (Capt), David Nash, Lee Nash, Robert Evans, Chris Green, Reiss Byfield, Justin Grandison, Isaac Robinson, TJ Holder, Daniel Tymon, Steven Parsons.
