SPORTS ARGUS WROTE
Premier pacesetters Coleshill Town have discovered the price of success - with five of their players on the wanted list of other clubs. Manager Martin Sockett believes he has a squad capable of claiming the title - and such has been their form that they have attracted a host of seven day approaches. Bedworth United have followed Stratford Town in targeting Ricky Smith, while Evesham United have declared their interest in Des Seivwright. David Lloyd FC were after Gary Smith and Massey Ferguson were tracking Neil Frost, while Tividale have enquired about striker Paul Mountney. Ironically, the injuries which meant Sockett having to re-shuffle his team have also left three of those wanted players on the casualty list, rather than the exit list. Ricky Smith is struggling with a knee injury, while namesake Gary faces a lengthy lay off after rupturing his ankle ligaments. Frost too could be out up until Christmas because of a hamstring problem. Sockett, whose side lost 1-0 at home to title challengers Worcester Athletico last time out, has been left with eight players on the sidelines. But he has boosted his Pack Meadow squad with the arrival of Gary Hardwick.
