A scrappy match at Coleshill Town with Ansells ended in a 1-1 draw after both teams were reduced to ten men. Following a goalless first half, Sean Merchant's cross was converted for Ansells by Nigel Rawbone in the 60th minute. Fifteen minutes later, Pat Daly headed Coleshill's equaliser. Merchant had a near miss for Ansells late on with Coleshill looking happier with the draw.
