Sandwell were well on top in the early stages and deservedly too the lead after 23 minutes. Craig Love volleyed into the far corner of the net after a neat pass from Richard Lowe. Chances were few afterwards as Sandwell continued to attack but Coleshill's packed defence held out for the rest of the first half.

SUNDAY MERCURY WROTE
Craig Love assured Borough of the points in the first half, volleying the ball home after receiving a pass from Richard Lowe. In the second half Coleshill's poor finishing let them down and assured a Borough victory.
