SUNDAY MERCURY WROTE
Coleshill Floored By Parry's Treble Tonic

Bridgnorth have emerged as the early season pace setters in the Midland Combination and are already looking a good bet for the title. With most of last seasons Shifnal team in their ranks they are already a formidable force as Coleshill will verify after this latest hammering. Gwn Parry notched a hat trick to take his tally to seven in only three games this season. Bridgnorth clinched their latest win after four goals on the first 34 minutes from parry 2, one penalty, Rogers and Millward, two minutes into the second half Parry completed his hat trick with a diving header. Substitute Owens completed the scoring eight minutes from time finishing off a four man move with a blistering shot past Collins.

Manager Colin Holder is pursuing Chipping Norton's Paul Montague, who played at Coleshill under David Kite three years ago.
