MATCH REPORT
Must be the first time in CTFC's history that two Alex's scored the goals.
Coleshill made it through to the next round of the FA Trophy with not too much difficulty.
Having a goalkeeper was the biggest problem as our main two stoppers, Ben Newey and James Behan were both injured but manager Grant Joshua brought in a keeper from Chasetown in Bradley Clarkson and although he had little to do, he impressed on his debut.
The Colemen were much the better team in the first half and by half time were comfortable with a 2-0 lead. Coleshill took the lead on 13 minutes from a corner, it was unclear who got the final touch but Alex Tomkinson swore it was his goal as it came off his back. It was two on 28 minutes when debutant Alex McSegne beat the home keeper to a through ball and finished well from a tight angle.

To be fair to the home team, they did better in the second half and had the bulk of possession but Clarkson was only called upon once to make a save of note, but that save was impressive. In the latter stages, as Gratham pushed forward, Coleshill could and should have increased their advantage, Joe Palmer, Ben Usher-Shipway and Bassit Mandey all having really good chances.

The draw for the 2nd Qualifying Round of the FA Trophy has pitted Coleshill against Carlton Town, as a repeat from last season, lets hope for a better result.
